The Rules According to Tatum

After witnessing a driver being pulled over for speeding (no, not me!), there have been many conversations about rules and consequences for braking rules. This morning, Tatum told me, "Not hit people or you go in time-out. Not eat people or you go in time-out". Not eat people? "No, it not nice behavior to eat people". ☺

Incredible Kid

Happy Absolutely Incredible Kid Day! Since yesterday I posted the symbolic meaning of butterflies, today I want to post about my absolutely incredible 'frog'. A frog symbolizes good luck and opportunity to transition.

The Celts believe the frog represent healing. In Asian cultures, the frog is considered to be a link between the living and the dead.

Butterfly Day

In honor of my 'butterfly', Happy Learn About Butterflies Day.



Butterflies are a symbol of transformation. A butterfly starts as an egg, becomes a caterpillar, forms a cocoon, and emerges as a butterfly in her unfurling glory. The transformation takes about a month.

In Greek mythology, the Psyche (literally translated meanings soul) is represented by a butterfly. Psyche is linked to an endless bond and love.
